BBSSH for OS 7 (pre-beta)

Current versions of BBSSH do not properly run under the just-released OS7. There is an ‘unstable’ build currently available that corrects this.  Note that I have not tested other functionality – in particular we may see problems with available keys in key binding.  Once I full test the version I’ll move it to regular beta, but in the interim you can grab it here:

http://dev.bbssh.org/bbssh/unstable/7.0.0/BBSSH.jad

You should be able to get back all of your settings from your old device using “restore” in desktop manager.  If you are doing a selective restore (something I’d always recommend when switching devices…) then you’ll find that all of the BBSSH settings to restore are prefixed with the name “BBSSH”.

If you do find any new issues under OS7 please report them to me using the “Send feedback” menu item.

    OS7…
    How about OS5, OS6 version?

Stable beta downloads for os4.5-os6 are available at the previously announced location (http://dev.bbssh.org/bbssh).
The unstable build contains fixes specifically for OS7; users of earlier OS’s won’t benefit from them.

Thanks. I read the announcement from subscribed, that GNU screen will be added/supported a few weeks ago, but did not find a place to download.
    Anyway, thank you very much.

Gnu screen has been supported all along :) . You just need to download/install through your distro’s package manager (on ubuntu that’s sudo apt-get install screen).

I think I misunderstood your comment about downloading. However screen has been supported since version 1.0 :)

aha, it’s me that misunderstood your blog. I had thought it to be a version with screen-like function inside ( I could not imagine what it would be, and became so curious ~~)
I have an experience using debian, apt is great, so is screen.
    Anyway, thanks for you replies!
